About JTB
Just the Beginning is guided by three core values: Exposure, Education, and Connection. Exposure ensures that students see the breadth of career possibilities in law because we believe you can become what you can see. Education equips students with legal, professional, and leadership skills through immersive experiences, reinforcing the principle that learning is most effective through doing. Connection fosters meaningful relationships with attorneys, judges, and legal leaders, creating a supportive network committed to mentorship, inspiration, and opportunity. 


JTB offers in-person and virtual programs annually, providing middle school, high school, undergraduate, and law students with valuable exposure to the legal profession. All programs are entirely free of charge. 

Law School Launch

This virtual program aims to provide incoming law students with academic guidance in order to understand the expectations of their 1L year. Students will learn about course content and the law school structure. Sessions will focus on expectations in the classroom and coursework.

All requests to be removed from JTB-APO’s mailing list shall be honored. participants, parents, volunteers or others who supply JTB-APO with their telephone number shall only be contacted by telephone regarding their program participation.
