JTB offers in-person and virtual programs annually, providing middle school, high school, undergraduate, and law students with valuable exposure to the legal profession. All programs are entirely free of charge.

Law School 101

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Law School 101! This program focuses on the law school experience for undergraduates interested in pursuing a legal career. Students will discover the law school admissions process, how to brief a case, and ask questions of practicing attorneys. You will help students figure out whether law school is their right fit and provide them the first steps to navigate their way to and through law school.

Volunteer Opportunities

May 5, 2026, at 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm ET - The Application Process: Learn about the LSAT with logic game practice, learn the dos and don'ts of the entrance essay and figure out what qualities admissions officers are really looking for.
* Speaker Description: The ideal speaker will have experience in a law school admissions department. They should be able to synthesize the process in a PowerPoint presentation and provide clear examples of a successful candidate. May 6, 2026, at 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm ET - How to Brief a Case: Learn how to read and analyze a case to apply it to a new set of facts - just like a law student!
* Speaker Description: A great speaker will provide an example of how to IRAC a case of the speaker's choosing and then apply the rule to other facts.
